My mom and grandma come to my school this afternoon! They arrived right at the end of the school day so that they could see my classroom and get a little tour of the school. It was great to see them both, and I thought it was fun to get to bring someone(s) from my home-life into my school-life, even if it was only for a brief visit. My teacher side of my life is something that not many people actually get to see, so I loved having them there.
Mom snapped a picture of me posing with the whiteboard, which was still covered from the science lesson I had just taught.

After seeing the school, we spent a little time back at my apartment before they took me out to dinner. I so regret not getting a picture with both of them! I have so many things to be thankful for in my life, including these two wonderful women.
